Arrest made at UNBC
Prior to the pyrotechnics associated with the Canada Winter Games closing ceremonies, a different kind of heat was brought to UNBC Sunday morning, with Prince George RCMP making an arrest on campus. Police responded to the school at around 11:15 a.m.

Impaired snowmobiler caught driving on Highway 5
A 22-year-old Alberta man was arrested Wednesday evening for allegedly riding his snowmobile along the gravel shoulder of Highway 5 while impaired. Valemount RCMP said he was apprehended after police were called to a report of a stranded motorist.
