City lost population according to BC Stats estimate
The city has continued to lose people, according to the provincial government’s latest estimate. As of July 2017, 70,316 people were living within city limits, according to numbers released last week by BC Stats.

Lane closure scheduled for Highway 16
The going along a portion of Highway 16 will be a little slower than usual on Tuesday. A westbound lane 200 metres east of the junction with Highway 97 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for maintenance according to DriveBC.
