The Air Canada strike is leaving Prince George Airport untouched.
Some 3,800 customer service agents and other airport workers walked off the job Tuesday, but none of them are picketing in Prince George.
That's because YXS is served by Air Canada Jazz, a regional carrier contracted by Air Canada whose workers are represented by a different union.
Travellers flying on the main carrier have found only slightly longer lineups and minor delays Tuesday according to the Canadian Press. Management staff have stepped in to replace the striking workers and passengers have been encouraged to use the self-serve kiosks.
