Valemount RCMP and the BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit are asking anyone with information regarding a fatal assault that occurred on Tuesday, Aug 26 to come forward.
A male and a female were found with serious injuries in a home on Pine Road in Valemount and were transported to the Valemount Health Centre.
The male victim is reported to have died from his injuries shortly after.
Investigators say they do not believe that there is an ongoing threat to the Valemount community.
