Prince George RCMP on patrol at Westcoast Amusements fair in Exhibition Park Saturday night were advised a male was carrying a baseball bat.
Police located the young male who had concealed the baseball bat in his sleeve. The youth was arrested for possession of a weapon and was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
"Police seized the bat and also located a pocket knife on the youth. It was not known what the youth's intentions were, but police were able to prevent any further incidents by taking the youth into custody. He was later released to his guardian," said Cst. Lesley Smith, media communications officer.
