WorkSafe BC and the Compensation Employees' Union have reached a tentative agreement on a two-year contract.

The deal for 2,500 workers, including some in Prince George, calls for a small wage increase funded through savings found in other parts of the budget as part of the provincial government's co-operative gains mandate.

Ratification votes will be held across the province over the next two weeks, with the Prince George vote set for Feb. 6.
