Transportation minister Shirley Bond is pointing to $53 million worth of further work on the Cariboo Connector along Highway 97 as a highlight among the projects to be pursued this year.
Announced in 2005, the Cariboo Connector is a long-term strategy to widen the entire 460-km portion of Highway 97 from Cache Creek to Prince George to four lanes.
