As if the snow wasn't enough, get ready for some strong winds later today (Dec. 14).
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Prince George due to expected high winds.
As a Pacific low-pressure system makes landfall along the central coast midday and then tracks across northern B.C. this afternoon, high gusts will develop.
The wind will peak this afternoon with gusts as high as 80 km/h.
