Nearly 2,100 customers in the Hart were hit twice with a power outage in a matter of the last few days.

The first occurred midday Saturday, starting at 10:47 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. and the second struck early Monday, at 12:38 a.m. and lasted until 3:27 a.m., both in the area north of Northwood Pulp Road and east of Austin Road,

according to the BC Hydro website.

Wind storm was listed as the reason for both outages but BC Hydro spokesperson Bob Gammer said snow load was also likely a factor.
