Even it's not official on the calendars — winter has arrived in Prince George.
There’s no denying it anymore. Over the past few weeks we’ve had some flurries and sure it’s snowed in different parts of town, but through Sunday night and Monday morning all of Prince George transformed into a winter wonderland.
While some cringe at the thought of dealing with another northern winter, many people took to social media to celebrate the first snowfall in Prince George.
Youtube user juliehughes liveandlearn posted a quick video to show the snowflakes as they began falling from the sky on yesterday, Nov. 4.
Instagram user Kelsey Ronan posted a photo as she pulled her bundled up (and sleepy!) children in a toboggan on the freshly fallen snow.
And as UNBC is on Cranbrook Hill (at a higher elevation) the campus got their first real snow on Nov 1.

Love it or hate it — it’s November in Prince George which means the snow is going to hang around for a while.
