Expect strong winds along with lightning strikes and hail showers as a strong low pressure centre passes over the Central Interior, Environment Canada said in an alert issued at 2:44 p.m.
"The threat will pass by this evening in the Cariboo and Prince George, and for eastern BC overnight," Environment Canada said.
