May is Vision Health Month and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) is holding a fundraiser on Thursday, May 27.
On Shades of Fun day, people are asked to wear sunglasses and support the CNIB.
Sunglasses are available for $5 a pair at the CNIB office on 490 Quebec St.
People can help fundraise by making a donation, doing a fundraising activity, or hosting a group event. The CNIB can help you get organized with tips, ideas, and a toolkit to make your event a success.
CNIB's goal is to empower Canadians who have vision difficulties with confidence, skills, and opportunities to fully participate in life-- with practical one-to-one support delivered in their own homes and communities.
