A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Deanna Marie Willier after she failed to appear in court last week on charges related to the robbery of a Prince George convenience store.
Willier, 50, is facing two counts of robbery and one count of disguising her face with intent to commit a crime in relation to the June 18, 2012 incident.
She is alleged to have entered the store in the 1500 block of 20th Avenue at about 3 a.m. wearing dark clothing and covering her face with a bandana and carrying a can of bear spray and an uncapped syringe and demanded cigarettes and money.
With the help of video surveillance, a description of the suspect and the vehicle she fled in was obtained, police said at the time of her arrest, and within minutes a vehicle fitting the description was found at 17th Avenue and Oak Street.
A search of the vehicle uncovered cigarettes, cash, a can of bear spray and the clothes the suspect allegedly wore during the robbery, police said.
Two men were also arrested.
In June this year, Enfred Delbert Lindstrom, 49, was sentenced to one year probation for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and Leonard Lazare Poirier, 26, was sentenced to one day in jail for breach of an undertaking or recognizance.
Willier, who also faces two counts of breaches of an undertaking or recognizance from incidents in October, was supposed to appear in court on Nov. 6 in relation to a hearing on a pre-sentence report.
