Warrant issued for alleged thief, fraud artist

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 53-year-old man who failed to appear in Prince George provincial court this week to answer to a long list of charges involving the alleged use of stolen credit cards.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 53-year-old man who failed to appear in Prince George provincial court this week to answer to a long list of charges involving the alleged use of stolen credit cards.

Donald Alexander McIntyre is described as Caucasian, 175 centimeres tall (five-foot-nine), with blonde hair and hazel eyes. He may also have a mustache.

McIntyre was arrested March 17 when RCMP received a report of a purse in a back room of a store in Pine Centre Mall.

The purse contained several credit cards, a smart phone and cash. The credit cards were fraudulently used at other businesses, according to the RCMP.

McIntyre faces four counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, four counts of fraud, four counts of theft $5,000 or under and nine counts of possessing or using a stolen credit card.
