One of the three wanted men profiled in The Citizen is now accounted for.

Prince George RCMP announced Tuesday that Karyle Elmer Ottenbreit, wanted for allegations of break-and-enter, came forward on his own recognizance this week.

"He turned himself in at the front counter of the detachment," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass.

Ottenbreit was featured one week ago along with Travis Howard Golar (assault suspicions) and Jason Elliotte French (allegations of assault causing bodily harm). Their respective allegations are from unrelated matters.

"The other two are still at large and we appreciate the public's help in trying to locate them," said Douglass. "It is highly likely that Mr. Ottenbreit came forward to us on his own because of the coverage in the media; he became aware that we wished to speak with him."

To let police know the possible whereabouts or activities of Golar or French, contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or leave a message with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS / www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca.
