After more than two weeks in hiding, a wanted Prince George man has been arrested without incident.

Christopher Ross Blaney, 31, was taken into custody Sunday night after RCMP received a tip that he was walking westbound along Highway 16 from Ferry Avenue. General duty officers and a police dog service member found Blaney was found walking up Peden Hill.

Prince George RCMP have been attempting to find Blaney since Nov. 29, when efforts to locate him at two separate residences, following an outstanding arrest warrant and a belief he was armed, were unsuccessful.
