Les Waldie received the Fellow Certified Human Resources Professional award (FCHRP) from the B.C. Human Resources Management Association (BC HMRA), yesterday evening.
The award recognizes CHRPs who've made outstanding contributions to the profession of HR and their communities.
Waldie is a retired HR practitioner who worked for Northwood and Northern Health. He is also the past president of BC HMRA and was involved with the Symphony Orchestra, Senior Games 2008, and B.C. Festival of the Arts.
