The RCMP detachment, 455 Victoria Street, will be holding a vigil tonight at 9:15 to honour the fallen Moncton RCMP officers.
"This event is a partnership between the detachment and the spouses of RCMP members," said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Craig Douglass. "We are working to arrange a vigil tonight to say good-bye to those that we lost this past week."
People who wish to attend are encouraged to wear red and bring a candle. The event will last until the sun goes down at about 9:45 p.m., added Douglass.
"It will be brief but very important to our members and their families as well as members of the public," said Douglass.
