The body of a Fraser Lake man who went missing following a boating accident has been recovered, RCMP said Monday.
Police had said it appeared Jason Bouchard, 35, was unable to make it to shore when the boat he and a friend were in overturned on May 16 during a trip along the Stellako River.
Three days later, a search was put on hold with a plan to resume the effort in July once the river's level had receded.
The matter has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service, RCMP said.
