If you're heading out of Prince George towards Vanderhoof, or vice versa, be prepared to turn around or wait a couple of hours.
Drive BC is reporting a vehicle incident that's closed Highway 16 in both directions five kilometres west of Bednesti this afternoon.
According to the provincial service, the closure began after Noon between Guest Road and Hillcrest Way, a four-kilometre stretch, and there's no estimated time of re-opening as of this publication.
Cameras show poor conditions with snow on the roads and some fog in the distance, which may make driving difficult for commuters.
The next update is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. as an assessment is ongoing.
We'll have more information as it becomes available.
