Drive BC says Highway 97 is now fully open in the South Cariboo.
This follows a near two-hour closure 17 km south of 150 Mile House after a vehicle incident this morning (March 3) that closed the highway in both directions.
According to social media posts, roads between Williams Lake and 100 Mile House are being described as poor and unsafe.
We'll provide more details about the vehicle incident as information becomes available.

If you, or somebody you know, were planning on heading south on Highway 97 today (March 3), here's something up you need to know.
The road is completely closed in both directions 17 km south of 150 Mile House, roughly 60 km north of 100 Mile House, at Enterprise Road due to a vehicle incident this morning.
According to Drive BC, there's no estimated time of re-opening as of this publication.
