Vagina Monologues set for UNBC

In celebration of International Women's Week, the play "The Vagina Monologues" will be performed next month at UNBC's Canfor Theatre. There will be three shows in total, the first on Fri., March 12, 7:15 p.m. start, followed by a matinee on Sat.

In celebration of International Women's Week, the play "The Vagina Monologues" will be performed next month at UNBC's Canfor Theatre.

There will be three shows in total, the first on Fri., March 12, 7:15 p.m. start, followed by a matinee on Sat., March 13, 2:15 p.m. start, and the final performance Sat., March 13 at 7:15 p.m.

Originally written and acted by Eve Ensler in a 1996 off-Broadway production, it is made up of a varying number of monologues and is now read by a varying number of women.

Tickets are $10 dollars and are available at Urban Treasure at 4th and Quebec St. downtown and the NUGSS office and Northern Women's Centre, both located on the UNBC campus.
