Environment Canada has called off a severe windstorm warning.
The move was made about 90 minutes after the agency had issued an alert saying the possibility of strong wind gusts up to 100 km/h east of the Fraser River had been detected as part of a thunderstorm.
"Conditions are no longer favourable," the agency said in the update, issued at about 2:30 p.m.
