Crews from CN were hard at work on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
They were removing old railroad ties and carrying out other track maintenance on the lines running along First Avenue.
This involve heavy equipment being used to lift old ties and transfer them to a nearby flatbed truck.
Meanwhile, a specialized bulldozer was being used to break up the ground around the tracks.
