A stretch of Highway 97 North as closed for nearly two hours Thursday morning when Prince George RCMP were called to a report of a man with a firearm.
A section from Wall Road to Christopher Drive at city limits was cordoned off after police were called to a home near Christopher Drive at about 9:30 a.m.
By 11:20 a.m., the situation was resolved without incident, RCMP said, and the highway was reopened soon after.
"No further information will be provided," RCMP said.
