University of Northern British Columbia students caught up in the three-week strike last month will receive a $500 credit.
"As we previously indicated, UNBC is committed to providing a financial credit to assist students with some of the additional costs and inconvenience incurred during the disruption, UNBC said in a posting on its website.
The credit will be added to the students' respective account and can be applied as a payment against their tuition and fees for the winter 2020 semester or for other balances owing. It should be on their accounts as of today.
Students who want a refund from their account will need to submit a refund request form, available through the posting.
