A UNBC commerce and marketing student with a keen interest in the media has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the B.C. and Yukon Community Newspapers Association.
Judging by his comments after receiving his award in Richmond last month Prashat Passi believes there is a future for newspapers, albeit not without going through some changes.
