Health care in the North is taking another step up with life-saving heart equipment being purchased for UHNBC and an internist trained in the needed technology will be arriving in Prince George soon.
On Wednesday the final stages of a Spirit of the North Healthcare fundraising campaign was announced to purchase heart diagnostic equipment for UHNBC's intensive care unit called a cardiovascular ultrasound unit.
