Three people have been confirmed dead after an accident involving two vehicles on Highway 16 west, near Jensen Rd., at around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Six people were involved, and three are being transported to the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia.
There is now a RCMP accident reconstructionist is on scene. It has been advised that the highway will be closed for at least three hours.
