A pair of Prince George residents are facing charges after a break-and-enter yesterday morning (Oct. 21).

Cpl. Craig Douglass with the Prince George RCMP says they received a report at around 7 a.m. of a break-and-enter taking place at a commercial business on 1000 block-Victoria St

When officers arrived, they found the businesses had been accessed by forced entry.

A small amount of money and gift cards were taken, as well as a cash drawer.

About an hour later, an officer patrolling in the Connaught Hill area saw and arrested a 30-year-old man and 29-year-old woman in possession of a stolen cash drawer and the cash and gift cards taken from the business.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved the following charges against Prince George resident Cole Aubichon:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking (two counts)

The B.C. Prosecution Service has also approved charges against Shayla Rae Crispin, also from Prince George:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking

Douglass says the pair remained in custody overnight and were scheduled to make their first court appearance today (Oct. 22).
