Two Prince George men have been charged, nearly 16 months after police raided a pair of homes in the 100-block of McIntyre Crescent on Jan. 27, 2021.

Last year police seized 750 grams of suspected cocaine, several firearms and $9,000 in cash from the homes. In a statement issued on Friday, the Prince George RCMP say the Public Prosecution Service of Canada has approved charges against two men in connection to the case.

Justin David George Dupray and Tor Liam Green are both charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Dupray is also facing charges for possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition.

“(The RCMP )Street Crew is continuing its efforts to disrupt the illicit drug trade through targeted enforcement. The drugs and illegally possessed firearms from this investigation significantly hindered a drug trafficking network operating in Prince George,” Street Crew Unit commander Cpl. Dan Morris said in a statement issued on Friday.

Both men are known to police.
