An investigation is ongoing into a northern B.C. crash this past weekend that resulted in the death of two men.

Robson Valley RCMP say, in a statement, the 37- and 34-year-old were found deceased as the occupants of a pickup truck involved in a motor vehicle collision more than 10 km north of Valemount early Saturday morning (Oct. 3).

Police believe the vehicle, shortly after 2 a.m., was heading northbound on Highway 5, crossed the centre line into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a southbound tractor-trailer.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Valemount RCMP at 250-566-4466.
