Two people are in custody and "significant amounts" of cocaine and heroin were seized following a police raid early Thursday morning of a home in the VLA, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said.
A smaller amount of methamphetamine and evidence of drug trafficking were also located in the in the 2200-block Redwood Street residence.
A 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both Prince George residents, were arrested inside the home without incident. Their names were not released Thursday but both are well known to police, Douglass said, adding that the man is on Prince George RCMP's prolific offender watch list and had been selected for special targeting under the detachment's crime reduction strategy.
