Two men face charges after RCMP acted on a tip and uncovered some allegedly stolen property from a Quesnel-area home.

Earl Edward Roper has been charged with seven counts including one of possession of stolen property over $5,000 while Steven Gerald Schuk also faces a count of possession of stolen property over $5,000.

They were among those arrested Wednesday after a Keis Avenue business owner, who was the victim of a break and enter on New Years Day, called police to say he had information on where one of the items that were stolen may be.

RCMP said police showed up at a 1700-block Blackwater Road home to find a stolen trailer parked outside the residence and other stolen property in plain view inside.

Several people were arrested and the items, as well as several firearms, were seized.

Roper also faces two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and four firearms-related charges.
