Three people were arrested early Monday morning (Jan. 18) after breaking into a downtown Prince George business and stealing a television.

Caught red-handed with the $1,300 electronic device, 49-year-old Robin Colin Fleury, 30-year-old Samantha Nicole Peterson and 27-year-old Bruce Cassidy Nelson have all been approved of charges stemming from the incident at City Furniture.

RCMP explain the detachment responded to the call around 3:30 a.m. for a break-and-enter at the local business on Third Avenue.

“Mounties were at the location within three minutes of receiving the dispatch call,” says Cst. Jennifer Cooper in a release today (Jan. 19).

“This quick action allowed members to catch three people at the corner of Quebec Street and 6th Avenue carrying a 58” Samsung TV, still in its original packaging.”

Charges of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Offence are approved for all three suspects by the B.C. Prosecution Service.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and no other details have been provided.
