Avid outdoorsman believed to be visiting Prince George reported missing to RCMP

Surrey resident William Nadeau has not been seen in more than a week

For the second known time in roughly five months, a Surrey resident has gone missing after they may have visited Prince George.

According to local Mounties, William Ryan Aime Nadeau has not been seen since Jan. 6 when he left the lower mainland and were contacted four days later by Surrey RCMP to help find him.

The 44-year-old had allegedly been staying in the northern-capital area for two nights before continuing his travels, and does not have a cell phone or other electronic devices with him.

Nadeau is considered an avid outdoorsman and drives a bright yellow Ford F-150 pick-up truck, license plate NT6260, last seen carrying a large load in the bed with a green tarp.

He's described as:

  • White
  • 5’10" to 5’11"
  • 220 pounds
  • Heavy set
  • Grey hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Heavy beard

Prince George police say Nadeau's family is concerned for his well-being having not heard from him since leaving Surrey

If found, the public is asked not to approach him, but to call 9-1-1 directly.
