A woman has been sentenced to 80 days in jail for trying to sell drugs out of a local motel room.
Shaylynn Bethany Ghostkeeper, 23, was issued the term Thursday in Prince George provincial court for a July 14, 2011 incident that saw police execute a search warrant on a unit at the Ranch Motel in the 1600 block of Victoria Avenue.
Small quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana and drug trafficking paraphernalia were located in the residence as well as a replica hand gun, police said at the time.
One other person was arrested but never charged.
Shortly after the arrest, a volunteer clean up crew from Drug Awareness Recovery Team conducted a clean up of the area around the motel and cut the weeds, removing another potential hiding spots for drugs.
