The Northern BC Tourism Association has launched a new program aimed at helping the region's tourism businesses survive the COVID-19 pandemic.
The association is hosting a free webinar for tourism operators on Sept. 29, hosted by Steve Osmond of Rhapsody Strategies.
"My greatest feeling of accomplishment comes when I help individuals and organizations overcome obstacles," Osmond said in a press release. "I’m the type that always sees possibilities and consistently rejects cynicism and hopelessness. I help (clients) see the possibilities, set achievable goals, and execute the game plan."
The webinar, entitled 30 Days to Pivot Your Tourism Business, will focus on core leadership principles and how to create a 30-day action plan for their business. Tourism business operators can sign up here: us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN__HXLHQu5Tw-drJt_X1Oe7Q.
In addition, the association has hired two advisors who will work with business owners one-on-one to help them develop their business. Business owners can sign up for the program online here: tourismresiliency.ca/nbctrp/.
