Jason Kenney, federal minister of employment and social development as well as minister for multiculturalism will be in Prince George today, sitting down with the Immigration and Multicultural Services Society and Welcome PG advisory committee members.
IMSS executive director Baljit Sethi said the meeting was initiated by Kenney's office.
Sethi described Kenney as a "very dynamic person" who made valuable progress as the former immigration minister.
On Monday, Kenney was in Terrace announcing federal government support for Aboriginal skills training. He also toured the site of the proposed LNG port facility in Kitimat.
Kenney had a sit down with Prince George Mayor Shari Green Monday evening.
