Three people have been arrested and charged following an alleged drug-related assault of a woman
Dana Erin Coates, 21, Dale Charles Ryan, 42, and Jeffrey Austin Theriault, 25, all face one count each of unlawful confinement or imprisonment, assault and assault with a weapon, according to court records.
Prince George RCMP said uniform and plain clothes units began an investigation on Tuesday.
Search warrants were executed on two homes and a motel in the city, as well as on a home in a neighbouring community and a vehicle, according to RCMP.
The victim is recovering from non-life threatening injuries, the investigation is continuing and further arrests are possible, RCMP said.
"These targeted violent acts are related to the drug trade and all those involved are well known to police," RCMP said.
