Is there a nasty pothole on your street that seems to be getting bigger and bigger every day?

Good news! There’s now a direct way for local residents and visitors to contact the City of Prince George to report such a problem, along with other citizen needs.

A new 311 service has taken into effect after City Administration received approval from the Canadian Radio-Television Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).

Citizen services the dial-up line can be used for includes the following:

  • Report on …
    • Potholes
    • Failed street lights
    • Water-related issues
    • Icy or snowy roads
    • Missed garbage
    • Unwanted graffiti
  • Order or exchange garbage bins, or to report damaged ones
  • Inquire about utility bills, property taxes, and licenses
  • Request info on City Services and bylaws
  • Get support for City online services
  • Provide general feedback

Councillors received approval to apply for the 311 line in July 2018.

Residents who wish to hear a more in-depth report on the service can attend tonight’s council meeting, 6 p.m. at City Hall.
