Technology expert to expose anti-science campaign

U.S. computer scientist and technology expert Dr.

U.S. computer scientist and technology expert Dr. John Mashey will be in Prince George on Monday to give a public lecture on the "underhanded, yet effective" lobbying tactics of campaigners who dispute the general consensus on human-caused climate change.

His talk will examine the organization and activities of the funders, think tanks, and spokespeople behind the effort over the last 20 years, including recent developments and initiatives to counter their efforts.

He'll hold his lecture in room 7-158 (Agora) at the University of Northern British Columbia, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
