Tonight marks the end of Talktober, the month of neighbourhood-centric consultations hosted around the city.
The fifth and final two-hour session is at Kinsmen Community Complex, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and will focus on west Bowl neighbourhoods such as Peden Hill, Westwood, Spruceland, Foothills, and the north end of Cranbrook Hill.
As with the other events held this month in areas such as Blackburn, College Heights and Vanway, members of city council and staff will be on hand to collect feedback on parks and recreation, roads and transit, development, the 2016 budget and the proposed smoke-free bylaw.
On Thursday night, work stemming from a summer meeting in the Hart will be outlined.
Residents are invited to the Hart Pioneer Centre between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for a meeting about improvements to Darren Fitzpatrick Bravery Park, which includes a new skate park.
A concept design presentation will include a review of the preliminary master plan and skate park design ideas for comment and feedback.
