Arson is the suspected cause of a fire that broke out in an apartment unit late Sunday night.
In all 11 firefighters from two Prince George Fire Rescue halls were called to Lauraville Apartments in the 1800 block of Spruce Street shortly before 11 p.m.
A man was found unconscious inside the unit and rushed to hospital for treatment while the remaining 30 or so occupants in the building were able to get out .
The damage, estimated at $35,000, was contained to the single main-floor unit.
The cause of the fire is suspicious and RCMP have been brought in to help with the investigation.
