Prince George RCMP are looking for a suspect(s) responsible for the theft of a horse taken from the Prince George Exhibition Grounds sometime Tuesday night.
Police received the report Wednesday morning regarding the Quarter Horse gelding.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. officers were informed that the horse was located by stable staff in the back yard of a residence on Explorer Cres. which is about 2.5 kilometres from the Exhibition Grounds.
Police are continuing the investigation and are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible.
