Three men are in custody and facing charges after an armed robbery on Friday night.
Prince George RCMP said police, including two dog teams, responded to a call at 9:20 p.m. from a convenience store near First Avenue and Tabor Boulevard.
They were told two masked suspects brandishing a handgun and bear spray fled in a van with a small amount of cash.
By 9:45 p.m., a vehicle matching the description was located on Birchwood Drive in the Hart Highlands.
Police said one of the suspects, Wilfred Patrick Prince, 27, tried escaping on foot and was quickly arrested and a handgun was found on him.
The van, meanwhile, was not pursued but found a few minutes later on Highway 97 turning west onto Chief Lake Road.
With the help of a spike belt, the van was disabled and Donovan Arthur Carter-Laliberte, 22, and Andrew Dane Gifford, 22, were taken into custody where they remained as of Monday.
