A 32-year-old Spruce Grove, Alberta woman suspected of passing fake money faces charges.
Sheena Ericka Sacrey faces one count each of using counterfeit money, possessing counterfeit money, making counterfeit money, fraud $5,000 and under, and possession of stolen property.
Sacrey and a 33-year-old Dawson Creek man were arrested early Tuesday morning after police were called to a convenience store where they allegedly passed counterfeit American cash.
Sacrey has been released on a $1,000 recognizance.
