A man is in custody and facing charges in relation to a stabbing in downtown Quesnel.
Trenton Fredrick Stump has been charged with one count each of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
RCMP said a suspect was arrested at the scene after police were called to a home in the 100 block of Carson Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m.
The injured man was taken to hospital in serious but not life-threatening condition, RCMP said.
Stump has a record of violent offences, court records show.
