Prince George RCMP have kicked off the summer Counterattack campaign against drunk drivers.
The effort, which sees police devote extra resources to getting drivers who've had too much to drink off the road, began Friday evening.
"We will be out throughout the summer, targeting drivers that put our community at risk by driving while intoxicated" said Cpl. Corey Eggen, acting Sergeant in charge of the municipal traffic Section. "Please make the right choice, arrange a safe ride home."
