Three Westside Academy students walked away with medals, cash, and scholarships at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Peterborough, Ont., which boasted 500 competitors.
Fifteen year-old Lindsay Dimler, who's in Grade 10, received a silver medal, $700 cash, and a $1,500 entrance scholarship to Western University for her project, "Solar Separation II: Enhanced Hydrogen Fuel Production." She examined the use of solar energy to produce hydrogen and fuel.
